A CHRISTMAS STORY! Part 2
Posted on December 31st, 2017
Last week Dr. Larry B. Patrick preached on the glorious descriptions of our Lord whom The Prophet Isaiah ascribed as "Wonderful Counselor!" In today's lesson he taught upon His Wonderful Divine nature and the first few points centered around His Character. Christ being both Deity (the only begotten Son of God) and in His humanity Son of Man, served as the mediator between God and mankind. The greek theological term for this is called the "hypostatic union". This is a technical term in Christian theology describing the combination of divine and human natures in the single person of Christ. Furthermore, Jesus Christ was perfect in holiness and love. In the Bible it says perfect love drives out fear.
As believers, we are not to fear the rejection of others in this world when we embrace the compassion of Christ when presenting them The Gospel+

Eternal Security + Part 11
Posted on December 17th, 2017
In today's lesson, Dr. Larry B. Patrick concludes "The Family of God Rational",
and begins "The Body Metaphor for Eternal Security". In Christ as a whole body we are joint heirs with Him.
Therefore we are all connected as One Body which secures our eternal security.
It is important to remember that as members of the Body of Christ,
no other part of the body cannot function without the other.
Apostle Paul points out this analogy in 1st Corinthians 12:21. "And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you". Join us now for part 11 of our current series...
