Eternal Security + Part 16 Sealing Metaphor 2
Posted on March 11th, 2018
In today's lesson, Dr. Larry B. Patrick extends the second portion of the "Sealing Metaphor for Eternal Security".
The very moment you believe in Jesus Christ, the Sealing of The Holy Spirit is guaranteed.
The believer is instantly forever born again and they cannot be un-birthed.
Dr. Patrick uses a great vivid illustration from a sales transaction of a purchased new home as an example: Until we (born again believers) as Christ purchased possessions receive the key to our redemption day unto God's glorious praise cited in Ephesians 1:14, The promised Seal of The Holy Spirit is the earnest money payment of our inheritance taken from Ephesians 1:13. Although the promised Sealing is intact, much misrepresentation has arisen from faulty translations surrounding this doctrine. Yet, In conclusion the Bible makes it very clear that the purchased Sealing of The Holy Spirit is Universal among Christians. Now join us for part 16 of our continuing series...

In today's lesson, Dr. Larry B. Patrick covers the "Sealing Metaphor for Eternal Security". He explains the various purposes a seal serves in connecting our Lord's official eternal purchase of us born again believers.
Eph 1:14 reads,"Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." He further teaches on it's Definition solidifying with scripture (Eph 1:13,4:30) that the Sealing is the active work of the Holy Spirit which can never be induced as an accolade nor goal to which a Christian can attain on their own merit. To sum up today's message, An Explanation of Sealing is the principal idea of ownership.
Believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit to be identified as belonging to God+

In today's lesson, Dr. Larry B. Patrick explains "Anthropomorphism for Eternal Security".
An Anthropomorphism ascribes to God a human characteristic or a part of a human body which God doesn't have, but it is used to explain some divine policy to us in terms of human anatomy. In the Old T, it can be found in Psalms 37:24 that though we fall, we will not be completely cast down because God sustains any believer. In The New T, it can be found in John 10:28 that once given eternal life, the believer will never perish nor be snatched out of His hand+.

In today's lesson, Dr. Larry B. Patrick breaks down "The Essence of God Rational".
He expounds on the immutable infinite attributes of God, pointing out that no matter what failed state the believer falls in,
God will not and cannot cancel their salvation.
Presently many Christians can be described as "Walking Dead in Church" today.
Yet God still remains faithful and according to 2 Pet 3:9, God is "not willing that any should perish".
Therefore God will not lose any soul once reborn in Jesus Christ+
