Welcome to Charis Chapel Bible Church

We begin our study with the Bible itself: The Word ofGod. It's Subject and Purpose; and As a Devine Revelation. Next we study the Trinity, the oneness and unity of God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All that God has made known about himself can be understood even the fact that he is singular in one sense and plural in another. We study the Person and work of God the Son, and the Person and work of God the Holy Spirit.

Doctrine of Bitterness!

February 19th, 2017

Every Christian has either experienced or dealt with bitterness. Once it takes root in a person's soul, it results in: the fragmented life of hatred, cruelty, antagonism, self pity, implacability, vindictiveness, revenge motivation, revenge modus operandi, inordinate ambition and competition.

The greek noun PIKRIA describes some of the same characteristics within bitterness along the same lines*
Join us now as Dr Larry B. Patrick explores this definition from our new series...

"The Doctrine of Bitterness".
Scripture reference examples: Esau's bitterness towards his brother Jacob and Ananias and Sapphira's competitive spirit of greed*
